
Leanne Jin
Solo Pianist
With a string of major competition wins and awards in Australia and abroad these past couple of years, Leanne Jin's is fast establishing herself as one of Australia's most accomplished young pianists. She won first place of the prestigious Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition in 2019 as well as the Concerto Prize for her performance with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, the Best Recital in Round 3 and the Best Performance of a Prelude and Fugue.
Following these successes, Leanne won the Sydney Eisteddfod Kawai Piano Scholarship and was nominated as an outstanding performer and stand-out musician of their 2019 Festival for the 7News
Young Achiever QPRC Performing Arts Awards.

Other achievements in 2019 include: prize winner at the First Vienna International Music Competition and the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition in New York, resulting in aninvitation to perform in Carnegie Hall in March 2020 and the Fine Music Young Virtuoso Award AudienceChoice prize. January 2020, Leanne made a film in the Verbrugghen Hall featuring music of Schumann,
Rachmaninoff, de Falla and Debussy to be released on the Master Performers label. More recently, she performed as concerto soloist with the Sydney Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra as the winner of the 2019 SCM Piano Unit Concerto Competition with the Ku-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra.
