Concert #4
Musica Floreat

The inaugural Musica Floreat Concert at last year’s festival was an enormous success with our most talented local music students taking the stage. We were very proud of all the students who represented their schools - Bowral High, Chevalier College, Frensham, Moss Vale High, Oxley College and the Southern Highlands Christian School.

As the name suggests, this opportunity enables music to flourish in a showcase of artistry and enthusiasm from the most gifted of our young people.

It was truly wonderful to hear our local students perform solo repertoire on piano, flute, violin, clarinet and cello, and present chamber music in ensembles with their friends.

The feedback we received about the Musica Floreat Concert, especially from the Year 12 HSC Music students preparing for their HSC music recitals, showed this performance opportunity in front of a large audience was most beneficial.

We are most thankful for the generous sponsorship from

Dr Timothy Pascoe AM and the late Mrs Ewa Pascoe

for these outstanding educational workshops

and performance opportunities.

Education Day Workshops

In the spirit of community service and continuing our mission of encouragement and support for our local music students, the Bowral Autumn Music Festival 2023 offers two inspirational days of Workshops.

This is a unique opportunity for our young music students to learn essential skills from some of the professional Artists performing at BAMF 2023. Students will benefit enormously through gaining inspirational input, technical guidance, performance practice tips and musical advice from our exceptional Festival Artists during these workshops.

All high school music teachers and students of the Southern Highlands, and our BAMF Society Members and Festival Pass holders are invited to reserve seats to observe these exciting and informative workshops presented at St. Jude’s Church Bowral.
